«SkillUP to Social Inclusion» – is a 7-day training camp in Zhovkva for active school graduates and students of Lviv region.
The purpose of the camp was to get acquainted with the topic of “Social Inclusion”, as well as to study methods of combatting social inequality through creative education, improvisation and art.
The participants of the training course received numerous advantages from this camp: from studying new information, developing communication skills, building confidence and self-esteem to mastering methods of reducing discrimination in modern society.
It should be noted that the concept of public position was not bypassed either. Participants developed a theme and idea for a new public organisation.
The SkillUP to Social Inclusion training camp was visited by 25 young people during March 6-12, 2023. Most of them were residents of the Lviv region, however, there were participants from Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv regions. Social inclusion is the creation of the necessary conditions for everyone, regardless of their origin, gender, age, abilities, health status and other characteristics, to be able to be a full member of society and have access to all resources.
The project was implemented by the Society Initiatives Institute with the support of the Council of Europe and the European Youth Foundation program.
