The WoMentor program is a great opportunity for young women to enlist support and get advice from women professionals. The mentoring program will provide a comfortable environment for personal development, obtaining relevant industry information and expanding the network of contacts. The mentor will support you in developing and implementing your own project throughout the mentoring period.

The purpose of the project is to provide a mentoring program for women aged 16 to 25 years from Lviv and Lviv region to overcome existing social and economic restrictions that prevent women from realising their potential. This initiative contributes to the empowerment of women through personal development training and advice from successful women.

 

The mentoring program consists of the following activities:

  • Introductory training for participants, where they will familiarise themselves with the program, its goals and objectives, discuss the ideas of the participants’ projects and develop project concepts. During the training, basic knowledge of design thinking, project management, social media will be provided.
  • The opening of the project is the opening ceremony, where the program will be presented to a wide audience and the press. During this event, participants and mentors will be able to present their project ideas.
  • 6-month mentoring, which will include systematic meetings with mentors and participation in thematic events (we are talking about trainings, motivational meetings and workshops). The training course will cover a wide range of topics, including project management, social networks, communications, entrepreneurship and emotional intelligence. During the mentoring program, participants must develop their projects that can be implemented in various fields (business, social sphere, culture, etc.).
  • At the final stage, participants will be able to discuss the results of their projects with all guests and the local press. Accordingly, rapporteurs will be invited to share their experiences in such areas as women’s entrepreneurship and gender equality.
  • We have implemented 3 sets of program for women who want to engage in entrepreneurship or realise their social ideas.
