Within the framework of the “Arena of Knowledge” project, an excursion to the Lviv City Council and the quest “Lion’s Mist” were held for the participants of the classes.

The children visited the main building of the city, its courtyard, the City Museum and the session hall. In the Museum of the city, children got acquainted with the quest “Like a fish in the city” and the childhood laboratory.

Curious tourists sat in the seats of deputies and asked many interesting questions. Taras Repytsky, Chairman of the Board of the SII and Lviv City Council deputy, told the students about the work of the Council , the functions of deputies, their number and functions.

“Who knows, maybe among these little visitors there are future deputies or officials who will bring changes and make our city Lviv even better,” said the deputy.

The tour was accompanied by representatives of the Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine.

The participants of the “Arena of Knowledge” also passed the quest “Lev’s Place” to test their knowledge and learn something new about Lviv. Created and conducted a quest for the participants of the Arena of Knowledge, a tour leader with many years of experience Yulia Haraba.

The children figured out where the street with many names is located, the sculpture of Yuriy Kulchytskyi and a small gnome holding a mystery drink in his hands near the Boim chapel. They learned a lot of facts about Rynok Square, houses, monuments and temples.

It is simply necessary to know the historical sights, interesting facts and tourist places of your city. Now these schoolchildren have a baggage of useful knowledge.

The Arena of Knowledge project is being implemented with the support of the Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine.
